Every year, 26th January is celebrated as the Republic Day of India, with patriotism, fervour and immense love for motherland filled up in every heart of Indian. There are a lot of significant memories associated with this day. In 1930, Tricolor was first waved by Jawaharlal Nehru at Lahore and independent Indian National Congress was established. In the year 1950, the Indian Constitution came into force and India become the Republic country.
The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Team of BrainZ1 Techub and to mark the importance of this occasion with the current covid-19 pandemic situation, we held an awareness drive at Variety Square, Sitabuldi followed by felicitation of the Corona Warriors who have risked their lives to keep us all safe.
The day started with saluting the hoisting of our National Flag at Sitabuldi Police Station and singing the National Anthem with great pride. It was followed by creating awareness among the people regarding the coronavirus and vaccines. The Team stood at various locations at the square holding safety rule banners of the corona. They were telling people that the coronavirus has not been finished from this planet and the probabilities of one getting infected with it are still the same as it was in the beginning. Though the vaccines may have come in the market, one can still get infected with the virus. And asked everyone to wear the masks when they go out, use hand sanitiser every time after in contact with foreign items. Thus, we were successful in creating awareness among a lot of people.
The felicitation program soon started after the awareness drive at 10:30 AM. We were honoured to have Aabha Pandey Nagar Sevak of Itwari Ward, Dr Nitin Gulhane, Shri A. A. Sabnis PI of Sitabuldi, Ravi Agrawal from Gaysons Mall, and Rambhau Tidke Divisional Superintendent of Health Sanitation as our guests. The event started with a welcoming speech by Mr Utkarsh. While going on further, we were lucky to have a glimpse of the rally of fire of bravery of soldiers of the war of 1971. We bowed to it and chanted the slogans of “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jay”. We then continued our event of felicitation. The Director, Mr Omdeo Nimje, and the Founder and CEO of BrainZ1 Techub, Mr Mayur Nimje felicitate the guests with a “Samman-Patra”, a trophy, a dupatta, and a flowering plant.
Then we welcomed the NGOs of our city who had supported and helped the people in this lockdown situation. We were honoured to have Parinde Youth Foundations, Aggresser Foundation, Sayadri Foundation, Nagpur Group of Friends, Feel Good Foundation, and Garaj Foundation. They too were felicitated for their immense support and help they had provided in this menacing condition of covid-19. They thanked us for bringing out their work and felicitating them for all their support.
The team enjoyed a lot celebrating the red-letter day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. After ending up at the event, the team had a rally on two-wheelers from the variety square to the IT park through Lokmat square, Deekshbhumi. Laxmi Nagar. The team chanted the slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jay” and “Vande Mataram” all their way through the rally following all the traffic norms. On reaching, we had a good party and celebration of successful conduction of the event without any flaws. everyone shared their thoughts and views on the event.
The hard work and teamwork of a good team are what is needed to conduct any event successfully. Our team had made tremendous hard work with a lot of dedication from the early days to successfully conduct this event. There was a great team spirit among everyone and understood what one had needed before they could ask for it and helped everyone. It was a small team but achieved the goal of successfully conducting this felicitation event of corona warriors which was planned just 5 days ago. We will conduct more events and hope to have a great amount of success shortly.
